Literature Text

I crossed the airport floor, trying to find my cousins. I had no idea where they would be
and everyone around me was speaking Romanian. I liked the language, but that doesn't mean
I understood it. Eventually I saw the familiar black-haired girls coming my way, followed
closely by 3 boys with the exact same color hair. I braced for impact as the girls threw
themselves on top of me in a cousinly hug.
"Vincent!", They both cried
"If it isn't the Frumos'. Its been a long time.", I said, "Andreea, Denisa, Dumitru, Dragos,
Radu."
I looked at them to make sure that I pronounced the names right. They all nodded, then
Anney and Den hugged me again.
"Vin! We missed you."
And that started my weird life with my cousins. I had to live with them now because my
parents died in a car accident, and they were my only living relatives now. I hadn't seen
them in a while, but I recognized them and I knew their ages. Radu was 20, he took over
the family when their parents died of old age, Dumitru is a close second at 18, then
Andreea at 16, the same age as me, Dragos is 12, and little Denisa, who only came up to my
knees, is 3. I have to admit that we were a weird family, but I was happy to have someone
to take me in that wasn't a stranger. My cousins were all what I would consider good
looking, with small frames and lithe bodies, but that didn't stop them from beating me at
wrestling. They all had thin pianoist's hands, and they were great on the piano to. Despite
having graceful bodies, they were never awkward or clumsy in them. However the most
stunning thing about them were their eyes. Every single person had a pair of blue or silver
eyes. But all of them were in different shades and expressions when they showed their
emotions. But they held a secret behind them.
Another one. But I think this one is going to turn into something. See if you can guess their secret as the story goes on.
